Welcome to music! This year it's all about America. We'll begin by exploring our folk music heritage all the way to rock 'n' roll.  We'll listen to and learn about how American composers and their music have also been influenced by the music masters of the Baroque and Classical periods.  We'll expand our listening skills and our music vocabulary, and we'll learn to perform some basic square dance calls.  We'll focus our singing skills on performing as the chorus for the Spring Musical,  "Mulan, Jr.", presented on Thursday and Friday evenings, April 10 -11, 2008. We'll also attend an Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Young People's concert, A World of Music.
